Guardian Angel

Alone in my bed I feel the wispy breeze of angel wings like strands of hair against my face.

The gentle sensation of weight on my body as my guardian angel alights upon me.

Before there were only blankets and a coarse cotton sheet between me and the world that would engulf and consume me.

The wings of safe passage pull up over my head and once again I can drift off to sweet slumber. I know now, I am safe to pass between here and there.

I dream in peace of soft gentle breezes upon the warm dark sands of time.

No hourglass do they flow through. They just lay there warmed by the sun and slowly ebb and flow with the green clear waters as the underwater grasses gently sway.
