  • Ok, the latest on this Russian-Ukraine conflict....the main reason for the conflict in the first place is Russia does not want Ukraine to join NATO, because if they do join, then they not only retain their Democracy and come under FULL protection of NATO, but if Russia were to at any time exhibit any sign of hostility towards Ukraine, it would be considered a threat to the World and spark WWIII. Now, considering this is the case if Ukraine were to join NATO, to protect their people and assure their Democracy remain intact, my question is.. Why isnt Ukraine joining NATO and put an end to this conflict once and for all?! The only reason I can think of is that it is occupied by Russian citizens, for whatever reason. Now, as we all know, Biden keeps threatening to place sanctions on Russia if they invade Ukraine, which as the President of Ukraine has pointed out, if we are threatening to do this, NOW is the time to place these sanctions BEFORE Russia invades Ukraine, since doing so after they invade will be too late, and meaningless so....why arent we placing sanctions on Russia before they invade Ukraine? The answer is very interesting!! Y'all know about that pipeline Russia has up and running that feeds fossil fuel to various European countries, like Germany, and seems to be a part of OPEC?! Well, it seems that this is all possible, compliments of our Lying, Cheating, Thieving, and Anti-American President, Joe Biden!!! As soon as he became President, his first act was to totally and completely shut down the Keystone Pipeline here in our country thus, put hundreds of thousands of Americans out of work permanently, remember?! Well, what y'all dont know is that also as part of Biden shutting down OUR pipeline, he as well lifted ALL of the sanctions Trump had placed on Russia thus, allowing Putin to get HIS pipeline up and running!! This is the truth, but also very important to know since with Biden threatening to place sanctions on Russia if they invade Ukraine, these are the very sanctions he is referring to so essentially, these threats Biden is making to Russia are EMPTY THREATS, and is doing so simply to FOOL the American public, and various World leaders into thinking he has control of this situation! There is no way Biden is going to place any sanction on Russia, and especially NOT one that involves shutting down Russia's pipeline, not whenever he went to all of the trouble of lifting these very sanctions so Russia is able to have this pipeline up and running, of course at OUR Country's expense, and in all probability, is getting some sort of financial "kickback" from Russia! As I keep saying, Biden is up to no good regarding his intrusion into this conflict between Russia and Ukraine, and his insistent goading to get Russia to invade Ukraine, and you can be assured it will be at the expense of not just Ukraine and her people, but also US and OUR country!!!🥺 Food for thought people!! 🤔

  • My comment to the NYT:

Where to begin? We were energy independent 10 months ago and now we have to watch our president beg OPEC to increase oil production only to be told no 3 times. We had 7 million more jobs than people to fill them. Wages were rising for the first time in decades. Our border was made secure, which led to rising wages along with tax cuts and regulation reform.

Biden has opened the border to chaos allowing 1.4 million more illegals to roam the country since Jan, none of them tested for COVID but he's pushing a vaccine mandate for citizens. None of it makes any sense.

Biden is paying people to not work which contributes to the supply chain problem on both ends of it. Now, he's paying farmers to destroy their crops. Yes, that is true.

It seems that President Biden has done nothing but make Americans' lives worse. It appears that Americans voted for all of the problems they face today because of mean tweets.

I'll never understand liberals. I realize my comments will never be approved because they go against the leftist narrative, but at least one person will read them even if it is the censor.

  • Granholm laughed recently when asked about her plans to increase American oil production, saying "that is hilarious" and explaining that oil is a "global market" controlled by OPEC – which she said had decided not to increase oil production.

McDowell fired back, saying the United States "controlled the price until you took a chainsaw - you and your liberal nuts - to one of our most valuable industries, and took a chainsaw to our global security. You handed power to nations that hate us. …And she can laugh about that, too."

"Is it too much to ask that the secretary of energy actually understands how the energy sector works and how energy production works?" McDowell asked. "Is it too much to ask for her to give at least a small, cold, damn about the suffering that all Americans are facing as they try to say, 'Oh, do I eat spaghetti for dinner? Or do I buy a steak because I've got to fill up my car tomorrow morning?'"

"The Five" co-host further explained that under former President Donald Trump, the U.S. "control[led] the global price of oil" because it "had so much spare production capacity."

Co-host Jessica Tarlov agreed "[i]t's not a good idea to laugh at voters" and co-host Lawrence Jones noted the irony of the Energy Secretary for a self-proclaimed "empathetic" president laughing in the face of Americans suffering under high gas prices and the steepest inflation in 30 years.

Co-host Jesse Watters ripped President Biden, "You just got on your knees and begged OPEC to increase [oil] production, and they just gave Joe the middle finger."

"Wait until winter comes…," he continued. "You know how expensive home heating prices are going to be? You're going to have high home heating prices, high inflation, high gas prices. That hasn't happened since the ‘70s. Remember what [former President Jimmy] Carter said in the ’70s? ‘If you guys are cold in your house,’ he said, ‘put a sweater on.’"

  • “Build back Better” for others but not for America.

    https://www.facebook.com/100001914428010/posts/6542824255791324/?d=n

The attached picture details the freight cost from China to the US West Coast. Boats can not get into our ports, and boats won’t ship out until they are completely full.

The kids called me Sunday afternoon because they had just paid $3/gallon for gas. Oil prices have risen from approximately $50/barrel in 2014 to just shy of $77/barrel in 2021. We have asked OPEC to increase oil production to which they have politely declined.

Corporate tax rate increases are proposed to 28%. Corporations can’t get goods, costs are skyrocketing, and taxes are increasing. The cost to do business in the US will continue to increase…. jobs could be lost, jobs will not be created. Consumers will continue to experience shortages in basic consumer goods. Prices will go up— these are all the equivalent of tax increases on the American public. Walmart has announced it isn’t doing Layaway during the Holidays this year.. what does Christmas morning feel like for American families?

The IRS could potentially start micromanaging our consumer banking transactions greater than $600. Think about your own bank accounts… does that number ever show up?

Lastly, China is threatening WW3 regarding the Taiwan situation. If there was ever a time that we, as Americans should be asking questions of our political officials and raising our voices… it is now.

  • Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm joined CNN’s Jake Tapper on Friday to discuss the approximately 80 cents per gallon increase in the national average price of gas in the U.S. since President Joe Biden took office.
In a plaintive voice, she said, “We need to get the virus under control first. We need to get to that 70 percent. We need to get to herd immunity. You know, why, why have gas prices gone up? Could that be because of the virus itself – as well? I mean, everything is tied together.”
Granholm is partially correct. As the economy strengthens, demand for gas rises which naturally drives up the cost.
And yes, everything is tied together. Price is determined by multiple factors, the most significant outside factor being the behavior of OPEC nations. For example, CNBC explains how tensions between Russia and Saudi Arabia caused oil prices to plummet to 24-year-lows in early March 2020.
Shortly afterward, OPEC nations agreed to place curbs on oil output in reaction to a decrease in demand due to the pandemic and prices stabilized.
Over the last few months, OPEC members have been slowly lifting those curbs as world demand picks up.
Forbes‘ David Blackmon writes that we typically pay a little more in March and April as refineries conduct annual maintenance on equipment and change “from manufacturing a handful of winter blends of gasoline to the dozens of summer blends required by the EPA.” Even trader expectations can cause short-term fluctuations in the value of oil.
Sorry Secretary, but according to Blackmon, the November election “played a big role” in the recent run-up in gas prices. “Since last November 3, the average price per gallon of regular gasoline in the U.S. has skyrocketed by 75 cents. The markets clearly see the Biden/Harris administration as one that will work to inhibit U.S. oil production, which will also have the effect of tightening the global market, and traders have responded by driving up the price of crude oil.”
The administration’s goal of eliminating fossil fuels is priced into the oil market.
